Special Prayer Request:
Two of the families that attended Time Lab, stayed all week with their 2-3 year olds, and had kids in older classes, were Mormon. One of them is actually a Lay Preacher in the Mormon Church.  Not only did they respectfully listen to the gospel taught from the Bible all week, they brought another Mormon family with them for Friday Family Night.  They spent a significant time asking PT many questions about the Bible, what we believe, and how our church functions.  Their motives appeared to be pure, as they were seeking answers with no attempt to take over or convert. Please pray for wisdom as we follow up on these families, that their eyes would be open to the false teachings of their religion and that would see their need for Jesus as their Savior.

Many of us have been praying for opportunities to minister to families with toddlers and pre-schoolers, as we currently do not have that age group in our congregation.  There were 30 kids that attended this week in that age group. Pray that God will continue to give opportunities to encourage those parents and teach the youngest precious children.

Answer's Academy:

We are praying that God will send at least 50 of the kids that attended Time Lab to Answer's Academy and Aftershock Youth, on Wednesday Nights this fall.  MANY families indicated that they want MORE of this quality teaching for their children.

Parent feedback on the quality of our staff was OVERWHELMING. Since Discipleship is one of our core values, it is a HUGE praise that God has equipped our church with so many amazing teachers. Pray that God will continue to work through us to impact many more children for Christ. Time Lab was a first step to discipleship.  It will take time and effort to follow up on these families and move them from the crowd into the core.

Sunday Services:
It will take time to see the direct results of TIME LAB.  If God blesses us with visitors in the next few weeks, we have encouraged our core families to invite them to sit with their families, and to show them where their children go for classes, where the coffee is, where the restrooms are, etc. And, if possible, work on connecting with them outside of the church building (social media, play dates, etc.)

THANK YOU!!
TIME LAB was a body of Christ effort, with everyone from Crossroads doing their part, giving sacrificially to ensure that our community was impacted with the GOSPEL. We are very thankful that we had two workers from sister churches: Lucas Clover from Sunrise Valley Baptist, San Jose, and Joan Andrews from Deaf Baptist Church join us to help.  Even our BCP Director of Missionary Care, Herb and Wanda Taylor were able to visit us one night and pitched right in to help. We received materials and decorations from Poland Village Baptist Church, OH and Charity Baptist Church, Rio Rancho, NM.  Today, the resources were packaged up and sent on to two churches in Germany, where a Crossroads family that is in the military previously attended. We truly could not have effectively reached so many families without tall this help and your prayers and support. Our harvest is your harvest.  Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unjust, He will not forget your work, and the love you showed for HIS name, when you served the Saints - and you continue to serve them.

Prayer Letter from the

Church Planting with Baptist Church Planters in Tracy, CA

Tim and Susan had the privilege of attending Baptist Mid Missions School of Church Planting in Blue Ridge Virginia in June.  We headed into the conference with one BIG question in our minds: What's NEXT?? We have been in Tracy, CA for 14 years. God has blessed the ministry here with many salvations and lives changed for the gospel.  But, as church planters, we have been anxious to see the ministry grow to a self supporting, missional church planting congregation. Through wise counsel at this conference and from leadership at our mission we have come to the conclusion that we are 3 years into the restart of this church plant, after the majority of our families moved out of state. Three years ago our tiny core group moved into the facility that we are currently renting.  We have experienced steady growth during that time and are right on track for three years in.  At the school of church planting we received excellent training on the next steps of discipleship to help our congregation grow spiritually and numerically, and were able to set some measurable goals for the next 2-3 years.  Please pray with us that God will continue to build HIS church as we implement the value statement that we have been studying as a congregation. We just completed significant upgrading to the facility with the majority of our families showing up to paint and redecorate the building.  We are very thankful for the strong commitment of our congregation to reach their community for Christ and grow to graduation. We are also very thankful for the provision from our mission, Baptist Church Planters, for us to attend this training which encouraged and challenged us to do what's NEXT.

Vacation Bible School

Please pray for our VBS July 8-13.  We already have over 60 kids pre-registered for this program.  We anticipate that number will double after we participate in the July 4th Parade this week. We are praying that God will allow us to reach over 100 kids with the gospel this year and that souls will be saved and families will enter into discipleship opportunities at Crossroads.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support!

Family News
Thank you to everyone who has been praying for Susan's mom. She has been dealing with breathing issues, since having pneumonia earlier this year.  Since the beginning of May, she has spent most of her time in either the hospital or rehab, trying to get back on her feet.  When we returned from our trip to Virginia, she ended up back in the hospital and has now been moved to the nursing home. She has been diagnosed with Acute Interstitial Pneumonia. It is pneumonia that doesnít respond to antibiotics and is terminal. The doctors think it will probably be less than six months, but we donít really know how it will play out. We know that God is in control of the details. She is at peace with the situation and looks forward to her home in Heaven. Her mind is still clear and she enjoys reading cards and notes, so keep them coming.
Our address is 1220 Appalosa Way Tracy, CA 95376
