It’s A Ghost!!
Matthew 14:26-27 When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”

Story: It was indeed a dark and stormy night, and 12 men were working hard to survive. And then they saw something on the water that terrified them. A ghost! As if the wind storm wasn’t troubling enough on the night. Had it come to harm them? A spirit to mock their hard work in the wind? None of the 12 were trying to play it cool and tough; they all screamed their fear. Then Jesus speaks His presence, and it is enough. No explanations of what He is doing, how He is doing it, or why He is doing it. Just His presence drives out the fear!
My Prayer Response: Father, all I need is Jesus. Not explanations; not future plans Just Jesus. And He promises me His presence. Am I looking for Him? or so focused on the difficulty of my moment that His presence is a surprise? A cause of fear and terror even? There’s so much I don’t know and understand about now, and the future. But all I need is Jesus, and He is with me!
No matter what you face today, may you know and trust that Jesus is with you!
