Are you ever unsure of what to pray? Romans 8:26-27 provides such encouragement, acknowledging our weakness in prayer and providing specific solution: “In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.”
The Holy Spirit helps you as you pray; He is with you to lend a hand, and be with you through your prayer weakness.
How exactly does He help? Well, when you don’t know what to pray, He does, guiding you in what to pray and how to pray. Even more, He prays, or interceeds for you according to the will of God! You may not always understand how the Holy Spirit is praying, but God the Father, who searches the hearts, knows exactly what the Holy Spirit is saying!
The key then to praying is staying connected with the Holy Spirit, who is already indwelling each believer!
